This quarter will be more like first and second quarter than third was, but with a twist. Each of the learning targets listed below will be assessed in three ways: a lab practical grade, a quiz grade, and a challenge grade. The challenge grade will only count if you decide to do it, otherwise it won't count against you. For the challenge, you may prove to me that you can meet the learning target any way you want: drawings, orally, a paragraph, song and dance, anything!
Additionally, all class notes for each target will be on youtube/teachertube videos. The idea is to watch them ahead of time, take notes, then have more time for lab work. So you take notes at home, then do work in class; it's kind of flipped! The notes will be assessed when I grade your logbook at the end of the quarter. Here are the links to the videos:
