Typical stars do not become black holes, and they occur in a range of brightnesses and colors.Your graph should have spectral classes O B A F G K M on the x axis and the solar unit luminosity on the y axis. Scale the y axis from .000001 to 100,000 by powers of 10. (10E-6, 10E-5....10E-1, 1, 10, 100, etc.) Then graph the stars on both tables. For example, place a yellow dot above the G class at 1 solar unit for our sun. (G2 refers to how hot within the G class, with 0 being hottest and 9 coolest) |
